Bedrock CTO to Speak on the Automation Revolution

May 7, 2015 |  In The News

San Jose, CA—May 7, 2015— Albert Rooyakkers, Founder, CTO and VP Engineering at Bedrock Automation, will present a technology workshop at The Automation Conference, May 19 and 20, at the Chicago Marriott O’Hare.

The workshop, entitled “An Automation Revolution: Simple, Scalable, Secure” will address the three prime directives that are driving the reinvention of industrial control systems (ICS) today. Mr. Rooyakkers will discuss how companies employing automation can take advantage of best practices and extreme innovation to deploy modern ICS that will address the ever-growing cyber threat while significantly simplifying and reducing the cost of the automation experience.

In his presentation, Mr. Rooyakkers will demonstrate how the directives of simple, scalable and secure have been realized in Bedrock’s own ICS, a solution with less than a dozen part numbers that offers unlimited scalability and transparent instant cyber security 24/7. Conference attendees will also have the opportunity to see a live demonstration of Bedrock’s system at their booth at the show.

Mr. Rooyakkers will additionally take part in a panel discussion of industry experts to discuss new technologies related to the Industrial Internet of Things.

Bedrock is a sponsor of the 2015 Automation Conference, an annual gathering that provides practical application advice and visionary insight for automation professionals in the manufacturing, processing and packaging industries. The 2015 conference will explore how companies can realize greater efficiency and profits through smart manufacturing, 3D printing, the Industrial Internet of Things and other new technologies.
